| Been reading alot about stolen art from other artists journal. This has only happened to me once when I made a Windows XP login and found it in some chinese WIndows XP login site. SITUATION 1 : Request reposted on DeviantArt This is a big NO. You did a request, you do not own that artwork even if it's your OC. Also there's a sweet feature called 'FAVORITE' that allows you to have it seen in your account and that refers to mine. Reposting my art steals my views, favs and comments. SITUATION 2 : My art as preview cover for your stories. It is not the same as reposting, you did a huge work and I am happy to assist. Simply tell me, link to me and I'll link to your story in my artwork description. SITUATION 3 : Requesting art to be featured in a group. Unlike a repost, group directly link to the artist page. Feel free to suggest my art to various Deviant Art groups. SITUATION 4 : Does this means I can post it elsewhere? As long you don't edit or deny me of my rights, link to me and mention about the original artist I am fine if you post it on image boards (booru) with 'Kalahee' as one of the tags. Publishing my art on Internet, this has to be expected. |
